EMDR Therapy

Hourly EMDR Therapy

TICTI is now offering hourly EMDR therapy

While we believe that intensive trauma therapy is more efficient and effective, we recognize that an intensive is not accessible for everybody.

We now have mini intensives in North Carolina, New York, and Massachusetts.

We offer the following options:

  • Mini intensives: 2- or 3-hour therapy sessions on a monthly basis.  These sessions are often experienced as gentler on your nervous system than hourly sessions. Mini intensives allow you to build trust and provide time to dive deep into your healing process. Mini intensives in North Carolina are covered by some insurances for 1 hour per day; unfortunately, mini intensives in Massachusetts and New York are not covered by insurance. At this time, we are only able to offer mini intensives in Massachusetts to returning clients. In a mini intensive, you’ll get double the work done compared to 2 one-hour sessions.

  • Intensive trauma therapy: 3-5 full consecutive days of intensive trauma therapy give you time to process trauma and get to the root issues. You will make significant progress in your recovery journey. Offered in Massachusetts, New York, and North Carolina. Unfortunately, insurance does not yet cover intensive trauma therapy. Because significant healing happens in intensive trauma therapy, it is the option we recommend (in most cases).

  • Hourly EMDR therapy on a monthly or bi-weekly basis in North Carolina only.  Covered by insurance or private pay.

EMDR therapy and our other evidence-based therapies (Progressive Counting and Flash) utilized in our structured model have been proven to be effective for many people suffering the impact of trauma in their lives. Trauma symptoms may manifest as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, prolonged grief, addictions and behavioral issues, dissociation, and loss of meaning and purpose. TICTI has been a leader in the field of trauma treatment, training, and research for over a decade. Our clinicians are experts in providing an effective treatment approach to address suffering, allowing meaning and a feeling of empowerment to return.

Testimonial

“It took me a little bit to understand that this is what healing feels like. To allow an emotion or even a thought to just be present in the moment yet not all consuming. To receive the understanding and clarity so quickly is something I didn’t know was truly possible…to recognize such inner strength is a very pivotal moment for me.” – Former TICTI Client
